In 2024, the BUL law professor Solon Solomon got the BUL Public Engagement Fund grant, entrusted by Brunel University London to create a film that exposes all the different sides of the migration debate.
Assembling a small acting cast and making also his own acting debut as well as writing the film’s title song, Solomon also engaged with a number of politicians, psychologists, journalists and law experts, creating a film which is a blend between a movie with a plot and a classical documentary and which exposes all the different sides of the migration debate.

Who is Solon Solomon?
Solon Solomon is a BUL law professor, where he is also co-Head of the BUL International Law Group and host of the BUL Emerging Law Voices series on YouTube and Spotify. Holder of various awards for his research and other academic endeavours, he has rendered talks and presentations in venues such as Harvard, Cambridge & The University of Melbourne. His research focuses on international law and his views have been hosted in outlets such as The Times, The Financial Times, The Washington Post, Newsweek and The Chicago Chronicle.
